Who we are
AZ Lock and azlock.net are provided by AZPHONE CLOUD LIMITED, at RM 1508, 15/F., OFFICE TOWER TWO, GRAND PLAZA, 625 NATHAN ROAD, MONG KOK HONG KONG. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@azphone.net.
Information on your device
AZ Lock uses your selected apps, lock settings and authentication settings to provide app protection. Vault files, private notes, intruder photos and browser history or bookmarks are stored on your device. These items are not automatically uploaded to us. Biometric authentication is handled by Android; AZ Lock receives the authentication result, not your fingerprint image or biometric template.
Permissions and how they are used
- Usage access and app information: identify the app in use and let you choose which apps to lock.
- Display over other apps: show the lock screen for protected apps.
- Accessibility service: observe screen and window changes to support app locking and recent-app protection. It is not used to read your messages or enter text on your behalf.
- Camera: take an intruder photo after failed unlock attempts when you enable this feature.
- File access: manage files you select for the vault and cleaning tools.
- Notifications and background operation: keep protection available and display its status.
You can manage permissions in Android Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the associated feature from working.
Browsing and third-party services
When you use the browser or search with Google or Bing, your requests, including search terms, visited URLs and network information, are sent to the relevant service. Private browsing does not make you anonymous to websites or network providers. Those services apply their own privacy policies.
Advertising and purchases
AZ Lock includes Google Mobile Ads. Google may process IP addresses, device identifiers, advertising interactions and diagnostic information to deliver ads, prevent fraud and measure performance. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Where Google Play purchases are available, Google processes payment details under its own policies; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
Email password recovery
If you enable email recovery, we store your verified email address and a public device key so recovery requests remain tied to your installation. We use Twilio SendGrid to deliver verification codes in English. Codes expire after 10 minutes, are limited to five attempts and can be used only once. The server stores a keyed hash of each code, not the code itself. Your app PIN, pattern, vault files and private device key are not sent to the recovery service. We keep the verified email binding while recovery is enabled and use limited request records to prevent abuse. To request deletion of the server-side binding, contact support@azphone.net from your verified email. Uninstalling the app does not automatically notify our server.
Support and this website
If you contact support, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to provide to respond to your request. Our web server may record IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser information for operation and security. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Sharing and international processing
Service providers may process information needed to operate hosting, support, advertising and payments. Information may be processed outside your country, including in Hong Kong and locations used by those providers. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect rights and prevent abuse. We do not sell your vault files, private notes or intruder photos.
Retention and deletion
Local content remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Export files you need before clearing data or uninstalling: encrypted vault content may become unrecoverable. Support correspondence and server logs are retained only as needed for their purpose and applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to applicable law.
Security and your choices
We use safeguards appropriate to the information we process, but no system guarantees absolute security. Keep your device and recovery information secure. You can change app settings, revoke permissions and delete local content. Privacy rights depend on your location and may include objection, restriction, portability or a complaint to your local authority.
Children and policy updates
AZ Lock is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact support. We may update this policy as our service changes. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated where required.
